It depends on your cell carrier as to how long they keep texts and voice. Most are kept from 30 days to 6 months. The G-man keep their stuff much longer, and they keep building places to gather and store the data. http://nsa.gov1.info/utah-data-center/

Eh not me & mom lol...we have a bad history & relationship, she's a drunk, among other things. In those conversations, I sound more like the mom....like her latest thing is never having $$$ for gas, so she can't make it to stuff for the kids- baseball etc...I told her she needs to set a monthly gas budget and stick to it and not spend it on beer...ugh welfare at it's finest

yeah that does suck hun. im sorry about that, I have a great relationship, most of the time with my mom, depends on her mood sometimes, but most its all good.

That's great! Neither myself or my husband have good relationships with our moms, they're both nuts. I dated a guy for awhile that adored his mother, it made me like him all that much more. I hope my boys love me that much someday...right now my 8 year old thinks I know nothing lol hope he grows out of it. My 5 year old is my little mama's boy though.
I'm lucky though that I have a great relationship with my grandma, she was more my mother, and I adore her. She recently started using facebook and it's hilarious the stuff we post back and forth, my aunt said you can tell her and I have a great relationship how we post and poke fun at each other. I love her

That's great, both my grandmas have passed but had great relationships with both of them.
As for your 8 yo, have fun with that, u will be able to do nothing right for a long time, haha, just a great phase they go thru. I agree hope he gets out of it sooner rather than later, and it is def fun when u prove something they think wrong, haha. Same as your 5 yo, that is awesome he adores u like that!!! Keep doing what u r and they will grow up to be very respectful young adults!

I prefer texting because talking with most girls, it sounds like their in a tunnel during rush hour with a pillow over their mouth...can't understand a fn thing! Give me your location..room # and rate in a text, and I will be there....(except when Kiah texted the wrong room # to me...ooops! )

Same thing happened to me with Alyse her last visit here. Gave me the wrong room #.

My preference is still texting. Calling from work is hard with people able to hear me. I always say I can call when I get to my car. E-mail is really the best as I type the text pretty slow.

I prefer texting, because like an above poster said it's nigh on impossible to hear on the phone. Whether it's my shitty hobby phone, or their shitty phone; everything's much clearer with texts. Although I did just get Google voice for my legit phone, and although I talked to only one gal with it it was a huge improvement.

I will definitely admit the threat of having a flood of texts hit your phone at once gets crazy, but I've found lately most guys just text their handle or nothing at all. Calls are more personable. Texts are reserved for those I've met already, which is most appropriate.
