fbsm
There was a very affective provider who only did fbsm. So I messaged her, she said she only did L1. So semi jokingly I said is the massage that good? She responded with I am not licensed by the state to do massages sorry. I feel like I am not understanding what a fbsm is now.

It is illegal to use the word massage in any ad or promotion if you are not licensed by the state. So fbsm is a term that we use to describe something that is a bodyrub and a happy ending. But girls who offer that service, if they are aware, are usually careful about using the word.

one thing i've learned is never joke w/ a provider [fbsm, escort, domme, etc] that you've never met about anything this sub-culture. they will shut you down quicker than anything.
not even "I guess I should have asked is the body rub that good that it's only L1."
that's sounds like you are making fun of her and her skills.
pyramider posted "The OP needs to do more due diligence."
sounds more like he needs to read thru reviews, ask in the lounge, ask some guys.
and not make himself look like a newbie who has no idea of what the buzz is.

I don't care .if they don't like jokes and kidding early on I don't think they are going to change their opinion later. I want to have fun. I haven't yet had a problem seeing who I wanted to and us both having fun.

Maybe, just maybe... having no references, saying you would be impossible to screen and only offering that you are a great guy that loves dogs and a private instagram account that your wife doesn't know about to "verify" identity might have made that unnamed provider think that it would just be better to move on. Especially once you started asking about how good the "massage" was and asked her to define hobby related acronyms. I can only assume it had nothing to do with not enjoying having a good time or even her not having a sense of humor. Anyway, now that you are not new to this and have a bunch of references maybe try messaging that provider again.
