Just to clarify...you left after she was 13 minutes late? But she would have made you wait 26 minutes in reality? Trust me, I'm one of the most punctual people I know, but 30 minutes is pretty good in hooker time. Leaving at the 13 minute mark seems a bit harsh. Was it more that you thought she had someone else with her, or was it the time?

I wouldn't have as much problem with the wait as I would with the feeling of a revolving door.

I disagree. If I am running that late, I would fully understand if a client didn't want to wait. That would be on me and lack of respect for a gentleman's time. But then again, at a certain pricepoint, it should be expected to be handled just as professionally as any other meeting in the business world. She should offer to do a make-up session, and be punctual this time (perhaps even at a discount).

I never said it wasn't unprofessional! Of course it is. Though on the list of stupid things hookers do...it's lower on my list. My doctor runs late, but she's amazing. So, I call ahead and ask for an updated time, then I bring a book.

My doctor and dentist never run on time. My lawyer, hairstylist, and CPA do. But I weigh the pros and cons and adjust myself to avoid becoming more irritated. Is it fair or professional, no...but in the end, it's worth it for me.

If the most important thing to the OP is time, then he should make sure that expectation is very clear. YM, you and I both know people who think 30 mins late is on time, lol...even early. It's wrong, but not unusual.

That said, I'm totally in support of reports like these because they let guys know who is punctual (you) and not (most).

You did the right thing. Always trust the spidey sense. Not necessarily because it it's always right but because it's your time among other things that gets wasted. If it turns out that you were wrong then fuck it and move on. If it turns out that you were right then fuck it and move on.

Running late is unprofessional in the hobby. We are booked to be the only one at certain times, so we should be ready at that time. Each one of us has a different business or work ethic or even sense of time.
I've always been one that thinks I'm late if I show up at the exact time of a Dr or any other type of appt or start of work, so why should appts in the hobby be any different? I've always liked to be 10-15 minutes early so that I'm not rushing.
I've had guys show up 15 minutes before their scheduled appt, and it hasn't been a problem because I set that time aside purposely.
