Default Packing Heat

Ok I have been wanting to ask these questions.

1. Guys/Gals do you take a side arm with you when you hobby?
2. Ladies would it offend/frighten you to see a guy have a pistol (not a metaphor) when he got more comfortable?
3. AR law says that you must tell someone you are carrying when you enter their home does that apply to their hotel room? (I realize we are not exactly doing a legal thing here but hey just thought I'd ask)

I'm not gonna give her any reason to think about using it.

Brilliant idea, take a gun to commit a crime. LE loves those cases, easy to convict.

1. No, I have no need for a gun. If you want to murder me a gun to do very little when it's on the other side of the room in my purse. I don't bother leaving the house if I feel I would need for extra safety.
2. Nope, in fact I'll probably start a conversation with him about the gun. Not that I care, I just like pretending that I'm in to guns
3. Didn't know that was a law...

Anyone that knows me, knows I'm always packing. If a hobbyist wanted to show me his gun, I would probably show him mine, as well… And we would talk guns for a bit. It's happened many times, true story. I've even had a couple of hobbyists buy guns from me.

I always have it – at the grocery store, the nail salon, while hobbying, whatever... As long as it's a place where the law doesn't prohibit it.

Pyramider, I'm pretty sure that the only time the the law would be able to prosecute someone for carrying a legal firearm coupled with a concealed carry license, even while hobbying, is if they used the gun to facilitate the crime. I don't ever recall having to hold someone at gunpoint to get them to take their pants off. I'm just sayin'.

If was ever needed, doesn't do you any good sitting in your dresser. Concealed carriers should keep it concealed. Why talk about it.

I know how to shoot, just don't feel the need to spend $200 on a gun that I'll probably never use.

Who knows, I'll probably end up drunk at the Embassy Suites with another provider waving my gun case around and talking all loud.

Those that have CHLs are held to a higher standard. Since the hobby is not legal, carrying a firearm to an appointment, or sting, could make the carrier more in trouble. Besides its just stupid.

Thanks for the memo. I'll put that in file 13.

If one has to carry a weapon to an appointment, one must evaluate his selection criteria of providers.

Yeah I'd rather not depend on 12 people with enough sense to decide my fate...
