Default Rick Perry rides off into the sunset..at least the Texas sunset

Newly bespectacled intellectual leader Rick Perry gave his farewell speech to the Texas congress last week. Some of us in Texas happily bequeath him to the national GOP. Good luck, Rick!

I thought that it would be fun to dig up some old Rick Perry quotes and photos to help out his upcoming POTUS campaign. Make sure you knuckleheads know what your getting into. While I think you probably got a pretty good idea of what this chucklehead is about in 2012, his political history is deep, and rich, with embarrassing and absurd utterances...., oh, and some pretty amusing pictures too.....

Perry cannot win, he shouldn't run. It would be like Al Sharpton getting the nod for the Democrats - in fact, I wish little Al (thanks to a LapBand) would run and beat Hillary!!!!!

I wonder if you can campaign for President from inside a Texas prison?

Perry would make a great President for 3 reasons.

First, during his tenure as Governor Texas has become the fastest growing state in the U.S., second, the Texas job market is fantastic, and third ... and third .... and third .... I can't seem to remember the 3rd reason.

That's pretty funny...

I think Perry has done a fantastic job for the most part. I'm not saying he's perfect and there have been some mistakes like the vaccination debacle which he admitted and learned from. At least I think he did. He's been pretty much hands off which is what any executive should be. Only making the decisions that come with his pay grade.
Our limited legislature helps a lot as well.

I'm not sure he is President material though. I can see him being a lot like Obama in that there could be a lot of things he just doesn't give a shit about. I could see him not being interested in controlling the private sector. Not being interested in growing government. Not being interested in the day to day politics.
That would bring a lot of scrutiny from the other side and I'm not sure he handles that criticism well.

LMAO!

I am not a drummer, you simpleton.

Aside from that, you're thoroughly entertaining and a fine representative of the lumpen masses who aren't even bright enough to be considered for membership in the Idiot Klan, err, Clan!

Keep up the good fight, rio. The world ever needs to reminded of the tragedy of illiteracy right here in the USA!

Since I live and work in Texas, I could really give a shit if the rest of the country wants to dry up and blow away ..... just so long as Texans don't have to cover their spend-thrift asses ..... like they have for years with their utility bills.

There are "reasonably" priced community colleges in Texas (funded by property taxes) with technical as well as academic training and many already have in place (approved by the Texas Coordinating Board) college credits transferable to a "regular" 4-year college, AND even college level courses being taught in High Schools for which college credit is earned.

We don't need some "newby" socialist in the White House helping his bankrupt buddies in California and Illinois with HIGHER TAXES to pay for "FREE COMMUNITY COLLEGE DEGREES"! (Listen to HIS "LECTURE" TONIGHT!) At the expense of Texans.

Nothing turns Liberals into vinegar like successful GOP governance.

Rick Perry has been a very excellent Governor. Obama's incompetence has proven that our next Chief Executive needs to have actual executive experience and accomplishments.

The Junior Senator from Illinois was swept into office without the skill set to govern. Sadly, he surrounded himself with a team of similar inexperienced advisors and synophats. Such as Tommy Vietor who was Obama's campaign chauffeur before he became Obama's National Security Spokesman.

American's Lost Decade will soon be over.
