Haggling, Negotiating Pricing, Gifts and Being A Cheap Bastard.... does it work and is it worth doing?

For some it might. Some hobbyists are masters of some how reducing providers prices by different means. One being they offer a stellar review. Others point out that similar providers they see "only" charge a certain rate. They ask for specials. There seems to be many ways hobbyist have come up with to try and get even an already low price even lower. The question is...

Does it work and is it worth doing?

For me if I'm told a price... that's the price. I do NOT haggle or negotiate pricing. WHY? its really simple. When I shop to have a hobbyist / provider experience I look to have fun and have my expectations met. For some reason I have it in my mind that if I can figure out how to reduce the providers price the session itself might suffer and my expectations might not be met. I feel that when I hit the door the lady is "thinking" oh good here is the "cheap bastard" who got me to lower my price(s).

On to gifts. I ALWAYS bring gifts. Why? Really simple reason that's part of the no haggling and negotiating price(s) answer. I want to do something nice and unexpected for this person I'm about to get to know intimately. Once again eliminating the chances of have an average or less than average session. In short... I pull out all the stops to make sure nothing gets in the way of have a great time!

Does it work and is it worth doing? That's the BIG question. For me it does. I found out early on that in the long run many doors have been opened that might not have been had I been a cheap bastard. Being offered menu items not normally offered. Being asked to stay longer if they don't have other obligations. OTC (Off The Clock) Investing time to get to know the "lady" behind the escort proves to be entertaining, informative and certainly adds to the next hobby encounter with that lady. In many cases being able to take both pictures and video. Not always welcome by many providers. So for me... YES it works and it's worth it!

Now I know there are those that are of the mind set that I pay them to LEAVE! They have totally different expectations. Especially guys who are married or have SO'S. In short it's all about the SEX.

So ladies share your thoughts. How do you feel about hobbyists that try to haggle or negotiate your prices? Can a session with a hobbyist be effected if in fact the hobbyist negotiated a lower price from you? How do you feel about hobbyists that bring gifts?

I doubt haggling works with many people, except maybe used car salesmen. If I'm getting a service from someone I make sure I can afford it, plus I tip huge all the time. If I do not have the funds to pay full price plus a good tip then I will wait on the service until I can. heck, I even tip huge if the service is not the best at a restaurant. I even tip the kids at the Sonic drive through window who do not even come out to the car.

As far as my MT clients go, the only few who have ever tried to haggle me were young, and I just weeded them out/refused to communicate with them. Marked them in my phone so I would know if they contacted me in the future. Same goes for my good tippers and gift-bringers--they are marked in my phone and I'm always super happy to see them.

I've never tried haggling for the same reasons you mentioned. I have "double checked" that they don't do 30 min appointments which I enjoy being a one shot guy if they don't mention it on their price. As far as tips I have done that if I go over but that's it. Or if their price is 280.00 an hr I usually just pay 3 100.00 bills, same on the round up on 30 min. As far as gifts I've only done that a few times and it was booze. I was in the mood for a scotch and had a drink and left the bottle. That works better at a girls incall vs. motel to offer it to other gentleman at a later date.

I think it must work sometimes because a lot of guys sure try it. However it never works on me. I say this is non negotiable and leave it there.

Hagglin...... Works for some..... Not for others...... I don't haggle so no personal experience to have value as an opinion.....

Negotiating Pricing...... I do not directly "negotiate pricing" with the gals but approach it in a manner that simulates it...... A Statement while conversing along the lines of "Darlin.... If you keep a list of people interested, let me know if you are ever running a special along the lines of $300/90 minutes".... Stating a price point you become interested at does work for me in many cases...

Gifts.... for hookers I have to pay $160 and hour and up to fuck? Not my style.... I have read the pros and cons over the years of what they yield and see my methods garnering identical results...... I get extra time, lunch and dinner dates off the clock... friendships and the occasional sport fuck session as a result of being a polite gentlemen and repeat client that will share my experience with her with others in a manner that results in something extra for her at some point.

Being A Cheap Bastard No experience there either.... I think all those guys pay too much......

I also started the same thread in National. I thought it would really be helpful for hobbyists to hear what the providers might share in regard to this issue(s).

I don't haggle, but there was 1 case where I contacted a provider who didn't have published rates. The rate she quoted on the phone was more than I was willing to do at the time. I declined and she asked for a counter, which I offered and she accepted.

This may be splitting hairs, but I didn't contact someone with a published rate and ask for something lower. This was 10+ years ago and we agreed to 300 for an hour, so it wasn't a low-ball either.

If guys are haggling, are they seeing a published rate?

It's seldom I don't see published rates where it be in the show case or on their web site or P411. There are instances where a provider will have a lower price on ECCIE or a special but NOT change her p411 and vice versa. BP is where you seldom see prices.

When that happened, it was on Erosguide.

I see some on Eccie and P411 also post on BP or CityVibe and not have rates on those at times. That's why I am curious if some of the guys haggling are seeing ads somewhere else without rates listed.
