In the past I've been advised to stay clear of "1st year" models when the manufacturer is "tinkering" with design changes. There are some low mileage 2014's out there to be bought with good warranties on them.

That's a broad statement that provides no help.

Maybe it should be more like: "Buying a Chevy results in more car repair jobs in America."

I don't go by those reviews I go by consumer reviews and thr ones I have read have been good there are a few complaints but its nothing serious... Like some guy was complaining about how his hand dont fit between the seat to adjusthis seat... He could have fat hands idk so that ddoesn't bother me... Chevy Malibu consumer review sucked ass..

I feel you on that one girl. I bought my first Camaro Dec 09 and received my first speeding ticket ever in my life. Then piled up 3 more on top of it. I just can't help for driving fast and specially when a Mustang pulls aside of me. I loved my Camaro so much that I traded my 2010 for a 2014. But then that wasn't your post to this thread. I don't keep vehicles that long to care how long they will last. But for me I like Chevy and Ford.

It's like asking which is better. AMPs or independents?

Huh?

If I recall correctly the seat controller is on the outside of the seats.

Now my two-door, two-seater has them on the inside, but I reversed the bucket seats and removed the console, which I replaced with a smaller removable one. That way when a lady with fat hands needs to adjust the seat I can do it for her, rather than trying to reach over her fat legs to get to the other side of the seat....which is tricky to do without bumping my head on her heavy breasts.

Go for the Altima doll, as everyone else has said it's a no-brainer. I don't know much about cars, but my dad is an expert and does a lot of research before any big expense, and he bought an Altima a few years ago. That's why I'm sure it's an excellent car. (:

I realize BigTex is an as[edited by poster] but American cars are far better than they used to be. Besides, even a Lexus will fall apart without maintenance. Building a car in America means good paying American jobs.

GM has really cut corners since the "economic correction." Swishy brakes, removal of sound buffering stuff, etc. I thought Ford would be better, six recalls in two years with the C-Max. Dodge has some good styling but the cars do not hold up.

Okay still a very broad statement.

Note: I've purchased only one new foreign brand car and it wasn't Japanese. Also....it wasn't built in the country of the brand's origin.

So are you saying buy one of the Toyota trucks assembled in Texas at a non-union plant?

Or a Chevy truck assembled in Mexico? I've had one of them.

No need to answer. We get each others point.

Oh yeah....I'm still waiting for someone to post a GM starter or alternator that's made in usa. heck, .... I'll take any brand.

I'm curious.
