As I said above, the guy shouldn't say anything about a review discount. That's up to her to offer, and the guy to accept or not, based on whether the discount properly compensates him for his time, risk and bebefit provided.

If you don't like her rate, pay full price and go watch a ball game after the appointment.

There is no mixed message like you are alluding to. Why is it so hard to understand that you require 300 for your services and we require 150 for our writing services.

I'm not griefing you for wanting 300 for your services, so why are you griefing us? No one is making you offer a review discount. We are not requiring you to do anything.

There are a bunch of us that make significant hourly equivalent wages. If you can't afford our writing services at $150/hr, move on down the line to the next guy. I'm sure there are a bunch of wal-mart employees that want to see you and think your cheap ass offer at $25 for an hour of writing is a great deal. Stop trying to haggle our rates, it just makes you look cheap. We prefer to spend our time and efforts on classy and generous providers who appreciate our writing skills.

Men have always enjoyed talking amongst others and brag about what they have gotten. No difference in the hobby. Reviews will still take place, even w/o a provider offering a discount...because when you get one that rocked your world...you're going to brag about it.
