Material not allowed on non-approved systems

Federal rules prohibit sharing classified material on non-approved or personal systems. Regulations dictate the burden is on the sender of an e-mail to classify its security clearance level.

I know far more about this topic than you seem to.

Fortune 500 IT is totally a non sequitur to this conversation.

For classified material the initiator is certainly responsible, but so is the recipient. Especially when the recipient is in a position to clearly know that something is classified. JD's example is one such area but certainly not the only one. And it is damn well the recipient's responsibility to not remove material--classified or otherwise--inappropriately, which she did.

How much time have you spent on 23rd street? How current is your SSBI or your Info Security training? When was the last time you were listed in JPASS?

The fact that you keep mouthing the Clinton's spin propaganda does not make it true.

How about a common sense application;

You're a government official or a member of the armed forces. You get a manila folder on your desk. It is unopened and has no return address on it. You open the folder (hoping that it is not Anthrax) and start to pull out documents. Though they do not say SECRET or TOP SECRET on them you recognize some of the latest intelligent estimates that you were told about in a meeting earlier that day. This is not part of your job! What do you do next? Any reasonable person would put the documents back in the folder or lay them down immediately without any further contact. You would pick of the phone and call someone in authority and tell them carefully of your situation. You would then wait, you would not leave the documents alone, you would wait them them until someone who is authorized can recover them to begin an investigation.

If you're Hillary Clinton, you read them, take notes, fold them up tightly and shove them...in your girdle and take them home for copying. Even when someone comes to you in a panic and said a mistake was made, something was delivered to your office by mistake, you deny having seen the documents which are now at your place in the wall safe.

She's done either way.

do you seriously want a socialist in the White House ,, again? you are Unamerican for such views. go to Russia. oops! they won't let you be a homo over there.
There was a good interview some weeks back on Megan Kelly with Judge Andrew Napolitano where she asked him if it were possible that the classified information might have NOT been stamped classified and still sent on the the State Department AND Shrillary. His response was that while it COULS happen, the people in the intelligence community KNOW that when they're handling material that is classified OR WILL BE CLASSIFIED, that it HAS to have all of the classification markings on it prior to distribution. Those who distribute it without those markings are subject to very harsh penalties and are made aware of those penalties AT LEAST every 6 months and again annually when they go for their " flutter " ( lie detector ) tests. So those with YEARS of experience dealing with classified information and data are very well aware of the procedures and the penalties for violating those procedures. I was damn well aware of them in my time in the military. And the NRO or CIA or the other intelligence agencies are not about to get hung out by the libs ( especially ! ) or anyone else for a security breech. When it left the intelligence originator 's possession and control, you can take it to the bank that it was properly marked. This is all Shrillary, anyway you look at it. She claims to have been the Secretary of State, so all of the actions of her underlings there are HER responsibility and HER'S ALONE. She was their boss. Maybe they can all cell together !

It appears that someone in the state department made a mistake, and sent Hillary classified information without the proper security classification.

From the link:

A State Department spokesman late Tuesday described the top-secret designation as a recommendation and said they had not been marked classified at the time, but said staffers “circulated these e-mails on unclassified systems in 2009 and 2011 and ultimately some were forwarded to Secretary Clinton.”

You seem to forget one little niggling detail flighter. Even if (and I say IF) someone did send a classified email to Hillary by mistake, it does not belong to her. She breaks the law when she erases it, forwards it, or prints it out. She has admitted to erasing thousands of emails that, personal or work related, do not belong to her any longer. They belong to the people of the United States and she commits a crime by erasing them. She is guilty by her own admission.

Dumbass, can you fucking read? The email was first sent as unclassified, and then the classification was changed at a later date to classified. It wasn't sent again.

Stick to teaching school Clarence Darrow.

You are beyond help at this point.

You can't read for comprehension. You refuse to listen to those who know significantly more about the topic than you do. You are a brain dead shill for a corrupt politician.

It is not worth trying to reason with you on this topic. "The gods themselves" and all that.

Do you think Fortune 500 companies make their data base administrators be listed in JPASS before giving them access to confidential data on the companies LEDGER SYSTEM? Are you kidding? You get internal security training and you have to pass a little quiz. The company wants make sure you don't leave a classified document at the airport, or train station. They want to make sure you don't share 2nd quarter sales results with your neighbor at a memorial day BBQ. They want to make sure you understand the various classification categories. For example:

Company ABC Classified - Only certain employees can have access
Company ABC - Internal Use only - Any employee can have access
Company ABC - Unclassified - The outside world can see it

All you did was go off on some fucking tangent. Spare me with your Bullshit.
