I really only watch news 90% of the time but the other 10% is either Law and Order: SVU, Family Guy or South Park. I used to be obsessed with Scandal at the outset, though, haha.

Pissed off Hannibal was cancelled and nobody wants to pick it up. Then the asshole in me is glad because they were going to destroy The Silence of The Lambs story with their take on it.

To be sure, loyalty to "anything or anyone" comes in all shapes and forms.....for instance, some people are fans of Boomer Sooner while others are Hook 'em Horns or Roll Tide. Some like redheads....some like brunettes........We All Like Different Things, yes? Anyways.......

The phenomenon known as The Walking Dead continues to smash cable television ratings / records; see the March finale numbers.....and the Walker Con Events held across the country this past spring were standing room only. If I've read correctly, I believe only the largest halls at San Diego's Comic Con are reserved for the TWD forums....and event managers are still left turning away massive numbers of requests to attend these.

But none of those stated points are intended to change anyone's mind / opinion per this obviously popular television program. I enjoy the show....find the story and characters entertaining.....and (again) can't wait for the new season to get going.

All three seasons were the same; have a slow build up to the climax then make you soil yourself with the finale. Well, season one wasn't spectacular but 2 & 3 definitely were worth watching. Those were break your screen inducing finales for sure.

True. People love the hell out of The Wire. I dropped that show third episode in. Too slow for me.

FWIW TWD comics were a great read. I forgot where I stopped but had the show stayed more in line with that plot then I would still be on the bandwagon.

And now for something completely Western: Deadwood.

Deadwood ran for three awesome fucking cocksucking seasons on HBO a few years back. I'm just re-watching it now.

The show was sorta about the coming of civilization to the Deadwood goldmining camp in 1876, which was then in fucking Indian Territory and not in the U.S.

It was Shakespeare in the mud. With more cocksucking swear words and solliliques per hour than just about any goddamn TV series ever.

The show featured cocksuckers real and imagined, whores with hearts of gold, heartless whores, a whore named Trixie, Wild Bill Hickock, Calamity Fucking Jane, George Hearst, heathens, celestials, reluctant sherriffs, cocksucker hardware boys, hoopleheads, gobs of gunplay, and for the ladies, Timothy Olyphant.

Better than fucking Gunsmoke.
