No I showed the Chronicle article as an example...the basis from which my advice stems is from actually spending a few bucks (about the cost of one session) on a lawyer having special knowledge in the area of surreptitious video/audio recordings as it relates to criminal law and civil liability and meet with that "expert" and discuss the matter in depth.

It's actually incriminating on both parties no matter which one records it.

I'll answer that...first i provided a link to a Houston Chronicle article where a provider had her prostitution charge dropped because she had an audio recording showing that she did not agree to a service for fee.

Next a gent might tape it to prevent some crazy bitch from saying he raped her.

So try not to listen to LL ...you do not audio record these things to prove you did the dirty, you do it to prove you did not do something they say you did.

In the providers case...you audio tape and never agree to a fee for sexual service...which is illegal. You do not have to have sex with someone , propositioning an undercover lady vice officer is just as illegal as agreeing to have sex with a male officer. If you are arrested and have not agreed to a sexual service you need some way to prove that. Having sex for free is not against the law.

The hardware and software is pricey, but available. You may get some questions about whether or not you have an investigator's license, and some paper work. I don't know how one can "relax" and enjoy the session though worrying about "black mail" .... It seems some accurate screening and discipline to walk out would be the answer.

If either "side" gets busted, one should expect the "hardware" is all confiscated and reviewed anyway.

No I'm not a lawyer ,are you saying LL is? I do know that i inquired with more than one lawyer over this very issue. It is legal in Texas to audio record two people in this exact setting we are discussing if one has given their consent.
