Word is the our Sailers were released this morning.
The question will be asked. What type of Country has the balls to seize American war Vessels. The answer......one which is ruled by Religious Zealots who see themselves receiving instruction from and protected by their all powerful Deity? Or one that is ruled by a megalomaniac such as North Korea in it's seizing of our Spy Ship, the Pueblo, back in 1968.

Or a country enforcing it's territorial waters. I would be more concerned with a country that rolled over than one that stood up to us.
A lot of unknowns in the whole story.
Way to soon to say one way or another. Any scenario is just a guess at this point.

I wonder, if by some quirk in navigation, one of our Air Craft Carriers accidentally strayed one mile into Iran's territorial waters, would they seize it and all 3000 sailors aboard?

I had my war. We got our asses handed to us in that one too because of our unwillingness to do what it takes to win.
The World recognizes Power. It recognizes a will to fight. Right now, Dictators, Despots, and Religious Zealots are looking at us as being unwilling to stand up to another Countey when it chooses to seize one of our vessels of war.
