I been through quite a few of these threads and what I concluded is that brothers are asking the wrong question. If they want to get some real insight they should be asking "How do you black guys on here navigate through this NBA thing". This question would probably produce more meaningful and helpful discussion.

Let me give you some advice you can use from my own experience.

1. If you see a girl you like, make contact. NBA or not. From experience not all who advertise as NBA enforce it. Especially on backpage (on here too). This way you know for sure if she is NBA.

I almost want to say that the majority of bad reviews and alerts on this site are about NBA girls on Backpage (somebody correct me if I'm wrong). Sometimes this NBA thing could be a blessing in disguise.

So it's up to you to find your own truth about the hobby and this issue. You not gonna get the answers you seek here because no hobby experience is the same. Just go out there and be yourself and see what doors open for you.
