Default Half of America Is in or Damn Near Close to Living in Poverty

Horrifying statistics from Pew research, social security, and other sources.

I'm not horrified by it but we should drastically reduce defense spending and provide good jobs in infrastructure like highways, lakes, dams, bridges, suburban renewal, parks, trails, railroads, and of course a wall on the border.

Some of the poverty relief could be resolved by sending a bunch "home"!

Just what makes you believe that the average "dindunuffin", "gimme, gimme, gimme's', and typical Democrat Voter would do these jobs.

They all tend to require something they no nothing of.

Work.

Well, provide enough jobs that if they don't work, they don't eat.

The socialists have been throwing money at poverty in the trillions of dollars and as is typical most is wasted and little achievement is seen. The Dimocrats welfare system is designed to keep them in poverty as long as they can still survive and vote. The failure of the impoverished to understand that as long as they keep voting fore Dimocrats, their lit will never change.

Wages have been stagnant since the mid seventies. It's hard to rise out of poverty that way. Even middle class families earning two incomes are having a hard time. I saw a documentary about a married couple, both teachers with one child, still trying to pay off their student loan debt, still living in an apartment, and barely getting by. They both thought they would have a house by that point in time!

When Bush took office 400 families controlled 25% of the wealth in the US when he left it was 50%. In simple terms as the riches 400 families increase their wealth then less and less is left for everyone else

Who's been the president the last few years? I guess it's his fault...if only I can remember his name.

Lets have some fun with this. Maybe we can reveal some interesting information. Name one of those 400 families and one of it's decedents. I'll go first, the Greenberg family. A young guy named Jacob Michael Greenburg made it big in the technology business. You may know him as Mark Zuckerberg CEO of "Facebook".
