				 World's Happiest Countries? Social Democracies

A new report released by the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD) shows that happiness levels are highest in northern European countries.
According to a 2005 editorial, published in the British Medical Journal and authored by Dr. Tony Delamothe, research done in Mexico, Ghana, Sweden, the U.S. and the U.K. shows that individuals typically get richer during their lifetimes, but not happier. It is family, social and community networks that bring joy to one's life, according to Delamothe.

We'll be happier here when we get rid of the socialist democrat currently infesting the White House.

Then why are the young people in America today turning toward socialism over capitalism? See this article:
Another recent survey, this one by Republican pollster Frank Luntz, found in the words of U.S. News’s Ken Walsh that “[58] percent of young people choose socialism over capitalism [which was chosen by 33 percent of young people] ... as the most compassionate system. Sixty-six percent say corporate America ‘embodies everything that is wrong with America,’ compared with 34 percent who say corporate America embodies what's right with America. A plurality of 28 percent say the most pressing issue facing the country is income inequality—one of [Senator Bernie] Sanders’ top themes.” http://www.theatlantic.com/internati...ialism/471630/

Why? Because young people today do not see a happy future for themselves in a capitalist or corporate run America.

Funny how those "unhappy" young people today stare at their capitalist made iPhones using capitalist created aps as they chase capitalist created Pokemon go images onto busy capitalist made streets where their coddled capitalist asses are hit by sporty capitalist cars driven by capitalist on their way to their capitalist homes from their capitalist jobs.Quote:

Happiness comes from within. Doesn't matter where you live. People that are socially well adjusted and have healthy interests are the happiest. Although wealth doesn't hurt it's still one of the least factors in what makes healthy people happy.

Maybe those people are happy because in order to receive social benefits they MUST work, they do not get anything for free, (except medical and that certainly does take care mental health and many other arenas we consider "health care") like here in the US.
Unfortunately here in the US we are told they don't have to work.

My hairdresser is from Norway and goes back and forth as her family still lives there (beautiful but cold). She does say they are happy people as family is first, work is second and everything else falls into place.

When you check this article, remember kr 1000 is only around 156.00 always subject to the Foreign Exchange Rate.

Norwegians are some the most depressed people around. They also have one of the highest suicide rates. If it wasn't for their oil industry they all be working phone banks.

Yeah they suffer from seasonal depression. During the winter months the sun comes up about 5am and it's pitch dark by 2:00pm, this goes on for about 6-7 months that's enough to drive anyone fucking crazy. Not only is dark all winter and into early spring but it's dam cold too.
