Poll Finds Grand Total of Donald Trump’s Support with Black Voters: 1%

Trump had support of 47% of white voters polled over Clinton’s 30%, while Clinton beat Trump with Hispanic voters by winning 50-33%. Republican nominees traditionally have not won the majority of support from African American voters, but they’ve done better than Trump is polling now: Mitt Romney won 6% of the black vote in 2012, John McCain won 4% in 2008, and George W. Bush won 11% in 2004.

Republicans' White Working-Class Trap: A Growing Reliance No doubt Trump is well-liked by many college-educated Republicans, but his real strength is among those without a bachelor's degree. In that demographic, most polls show the business-mogul-turned-GOP-presidential-candidate is trouncing his Republican rivals.

In fact, the main reason Trump is leading national polls is because he dominates the white non-college world.

That got us thinking: How powerful are white voters who don't have college degrees? And what role do they play in the GOP of today versus the GOP of yesterday?

White voters without college degrees are an important component of the GOP coalition, an over-reliance on them can be a crutch when hyper-educated and nonwhite populations are growing — and becoming increasingly Democratic.

The more familiar people get with Hillary, the less they like her. She had to cheat to get the nomination. Trump will tell the truth about about her. She will be shellacked in the debates. This is going to be a tough road for Hillary. It's likely many precincts are already counting votes in her favor. It's the only way she will win. But she's very good at it.

Guess you guys didn't watch the democratic convention. It was moving, even with all the chaos about the email hacking. I think the election will be close. May the best woman win. |

 | Although new polling indicates Trump is enjoying a modest spike in support after the Republican National Convention, he experiences the opposite effect among white college-educated voters.

A CNN/ORC poll released Monday shows a significant divide among this traditionally Republican voting bloc. Among college-educated white voters, Clinton actually improves her standing: initially split with Trump 40-40 before the convention, she now pulls ahead with a 44 to 39 percent lead after the RNC.

What you appear to be saying is that when college educated whites don't like Trump, then college educated whites are smart?
