So annoying and pointless!!
I know I'm not the only provider with this problem! Every time I go somewhere you have the few dumb dumbs who want to send you a PM or text saying " aw I'm sorry I missed you this trip, please contact me next trip and I'll see you! " please tell me the point in that??? None! So guys stop sending those to girls you look wishy washy and it's a time waster to open and read that!!

a list of don'ts
Maybe all the providers could just make a whole long list of things we, guys should not do, as many times we are not trying to be annoying and time wasters. Many things are ok with some providers, while the same action bothers other providers. Like a pet peeve list, maybe that way,we are not so bothersome. sincerely interested, as I would always rather start out on a positive note, instead of my 1st pm being annoying.
Maybe provide us some attitude adjustments, and training. Surely we can learn. I know that one of my bad traits, is trying to set up short notice appointments. Until recently I did not understand the providers side of that issue.

mostly whatever to all this
but on the short notice issue.
sure it usuaally doesnt work. i totally get that from my own wotk with clients.
but
sometimes thats the way the cookie crumbles. and if it works out for both parties then great.
sometimes even hotter that way.
but if it doesnt, it doesnt. nobody needs to be mad.about it.
also why we need the short notice thread back

see thats my point
For some providers a short notice request for a date, does not work well for the provider, and I now can understand that side of the issue. A provider who I have a lot of respect for, explained and her side of the short notice issue. Because we talked it out, I learned some stuff.
Where as some providers have no problem when asked to provide a short notice date.
Can the ladies see my point? Maybe if we can talk and chat we can learn, the do's and don'ts. training on both sides, ooops, I mean learning.
I agree with BD, the short notice thread was very very helpful to me, many many times.

We need the short notice thread AND separate ads forums for LR and NWA like Oklahoma has for OKC and Tulsa! This was mentioned at one point by moderators but then nothing came of it.

That's a good idea. And i can definitely see the benefits from that. But in the same sentence every provider is different, something that isn't a big deal to me, could be the annoying thing that's the final straw to another provider.
As for BD thread I haven't traveled yet, but that would get on my nerves.
Short notice is 50/50 with me. Depending on what I have going on in Real Life scheduling.
If I am at home watching tv.. Heck 20 mins I can be ready lol

Just start a Short Notice Availability Thread in the Arkansas Requests/ISO section and get a few ladies to message a MOD about pinning it to the top of the section.
