No, it's just you being a "typical" ignoramus. Do you know how much it costs? Trump wants to rebuild the military, its refreshing that a POTUS will keep an eye on costs. The Pentagon is famous for overspending. Trump is used to deadlines and budgets. He's good at meeting both.

Now you are catching on.
It is like the hobbyist who goes to the session *hint* and asks for a deeply discounted price ** hint ** in return for a favorable review **hint hint** that's already been written out *hint*. Right, ** hint hint hint ** Big Louse?
But you are already familiar with these tactics aren't you?

I didn't realize you couldn't tell the difference between AF-1 and an F-35. That's pretty sad.
You know reason #1 for the F-35's absurd cost overruns? The FAR (or the lawyers/congress's interpretation of the FAR).
Reason #2? Congressional "help" to ensure almost every state gets a piece of the pork whether they are best able to produce it or not.
Reason #3? International partners who want to make sure their countries all get a share of the pork.
So good luck to Trump trying to sort that one out. He will need it.

You sound kinda panicky Low-T. Aren't you a govt consultant? Don't worry, I'm sure there will STILL be govt fat after Trump leaves office.

You don't realize a lot of things Low-T. That's why you are one of the last progtards on this board not hearing the laughter. At least Texas Tush Hog got tired of the ridicule.

Low-T, how is this different than any other huge govt contract? Let me help you out: It isn't. Other than this is an "international joint" strike fighter.
The F-35 was doomed to have huge cost over runs just by the nature of producing a stealthy, hovering, supersonic fighter. And the nature of govt contracts. The govt should have cut it's losses and run long ago but they can't because they've got to keep LMT in business.
BTW, Zimmerman is still walking around a free man. The guy who shot at him was convicted of attempted murder.

Your point is what exactly?
That Trump can wave his hands and fix all that, as the essence of this post claimed in the beginning? Just shout out "Cancel it!", and magically that fixes a flawed system?
You are saying that the legalistic procurement system has doomed the F-35 to overruns. Wow, isn't that insightful (and exactly what I said).
As to Georgie Z still being a free man--what does that have to do with AF-1 or F-35s? You hijack the thread--and then hijack your own hijack. Well done. You really are having a difficult time staying on topic Gonad. But staying on topic wasn't your concern, was it?

I am sure the geniuses on here can figure out what is different between AF-1 and the Trump Flying Chariot. Come now, it isn't really that hard.

AF1 is any Flying Chariot that the president is in.
It could be a paper airplane, if he is in it it becomes AF1.

Did Obaminable actually approve the construction of our war planes in India?
What role did the Clintons play in that one?

Change Orders(ECO) in the aircraft Industry that be a Engineering Change Order, you have to spell it out so the Liberal knows what you are talking about

Old Thumper seems more cranky than usual since EKIM has left. Mebbe because Thumper isn't getting his 55 gallon drum each week of dingleberry wine from Ekim to stay soused !

Fellow Ekim gaymo wrote this song for all the dingleberry pickers. Elton just disguised it with elderberries.
"Drunk all the time feeling fine on "DINGLEBERY WINE"!

Hey, leave Old-T alone! He was as disgusted as the rest of us with hildebeest and her lies and bullshit explanations about her private server and mishandling of classified material. That proves he isn't a knee-jerk progtard. Can't say the same about TushHog, though. I started a thread inviting him to show up and offer his post-election analysis, but he done do a houdini on us.

Billion seems like a drop in the bucket in comparison to the trillions Obama spent in the first year.
