I'm not sure I believe hooks when they say things like this. I believe it's grandstanding.

If it isn't, and it's not an issue whereby the hook feels she may be putting her physical safety in jeopardy, then the only positive thing I can conclude about this strategy is it may result in potential sympathy or mercy dates with the many male lesbians who pollute the board.

Physical safety when it comes to non-Members is a risk especially without a reference.
