I want New England to win just so Goodell has to shake Kraft's and Brady's hands ...

At 1:53:30 has to be one of the biggest pass plays in Cowboys history. Aikman to Alvin Harper for 80 yards to the SF 9 yard line. That play propelled the Cowboys to their first Super Bowl under Jimmy Johnson. The late great Pat Summeral was calling the play.

Yeah that would be the only good thing to come out with the Patriots winning ..... that the commissioner will be in the locker room to hand over the trophy and I'm sure it's going to be a most uncomfortable situation .....

If the Patriots win I doubt Goodell would dare go into their locker room. He would not be welcome. The Patriots don't owe Goodell anything.

If Goodell tried to enter they would show him the door and tell him don't you need to go find Jerry Jones somewhere and continue your discussions about putting him and his 3 playoff wins in 21 years into the Hall of Fame. LMAO.

The commissioner of the NFL has zero to do with the NFL Hall of Fame. Nothing. Both operate autonomously from one another; check it out.

The Selection Team for the NFL HOF is composed of 48 elite members:
32 journalists representing each city / franchise currently in the NFL....15 At Large members (ie: Dan Foust, CBS...Peter King, SI to name a few)...and 1 member listed with the PFWA.

Goodell could politic behind BCD all he wants, should he choose to put himself out there. But this is where the journalists and sportswriters of the country have the power to say Yay or Nay.

So Chateau, who do you like to win this one? ..... heard on ESPN this morning that Brady could become the first QB to win five Super Bowls ..... I would love to see the Falcons defense to harass him unmercifully and deny him, and Bellicheat, that victory .....

It seems like some of the local media and NFL talking heads on the radio and TV fall all over themselves like this guy is the best thing to ever happen to the NFL. The NFL was doing very very well before he bought the Cowboys. I know why, it's political correctness just like we have in DC. They are afraid to rock the boat because it may effect their job. Cowardly.

All these "great things" he has done for the league have only benefited the pocket books of Goodell and the owners.

Why hasn't Jerry, the unofficial savior of the NFL, done everything he could to keep the Oakland Raiders in Oakland? With SF building their new stadium an hour + drive south of SF the Raiders had the whole bay area to themselves. They have been down for along time but the Raiders are still one of the Flagship teams in the league. They are one of the teams fans would love to be good again.

Last time I checked the fans are the most important part of the league. Tell me two things all these great things Jerry has done has been good for the fans. I don't see anything. Not to mention he has run the Cowboys into the ground as far as a contender.

The fans have not been the most important part of the league ... ever.

Wrong. Where does all the money and support come from? The fans.

I agree Goodell and Jones don't really care about the fans but they have to have them or this current ten billion dollar league would be more of a 3 billion dollar league.

This score is about what I am thinking to.

I look forward to seeing what Atlanta's offense looks like in the first 1-1/2 quarters.

New England is such a well run team you can expect them to pick up right where they left off in the AFC championship game, and the game before that and the game before that. Excellence!

You seem to be talking out both sides of your mouth. On one side you keep ripping Jerry and cant seem to fathom why he was inducted in the hall.

But they you say the Raiders are one of the top franchises? Al Davis was an innovator in the early days. But he became irrelevant when he stopped becoming an innovator, wasnt bringing anything to the league and dragged the success of the franchise down with him.

You act like anywhere in CA is going to just jump at the chance to build a stadium for these teams. Are you really just not paying attention? The Rams used private money. The citizens shot down a vote in San Diego. Public money is simply not going happen in the golden state. And money grubbing bowl haircut Mark Davis has zero loyalty to the Bay area.

NV is the best option for them unless they want to privately build in San Diego where they would likely sellout season tickets.
