my question: what is the reason for this no pics in showcase ban? Cannot a compromise be reached--showcase pics allowed--just no face, no bare breasts or genitals?
Does this no pics ban include the "browse showcases" option at top right of screen---will the guys no longer be able to click on browse showcases and see the pics of the girls in alphabetical order?

My clients tell me they seldom read the written ads
(which all pretty much just say the same thing)- instead,he usually clicks browse showcases, looks at the girls pics, then clicks on the pic for more info---if no more "browse showcase" pics, how does a guy decide which girl he want to see?
This "new no pics in showcase" rule harms both guys and girls--who does it benefit?

My guess would be they don't want to be responsible for hosting underage material in the event of someone using a fake ID!

#2 Eccie is basically a free website with minimal advertising and if had to guess 95% of the users do not pay for their membership. I can imagine the hosting costs for the traffic the pics alone outweigh the advertising and Paid Memberships!

There are free website hosting options that will allow "nude" photos.
I did quite a bit of research and basically what their policy is .... is that "The nature of the content you choose to upload to your site is under your responsibility. Like any other website in the world, any website created is subject to international law. Keep in mind that if you use other content or creations of any kind, you will need to consult the copyright owner first and get their approval."

It goes on to say --- if they receive complaints of "human trafficking or sexual abuse content" it will be reported.

Anyways .... I began to design my site with a few pics just to see if I would get "a notice" ... but so far so good.

Ofcourse ... there are many webhosting sites that specialize in escort advertising, but it will cost you $30 per month or more to do so.

I don't think it banned pics from your showcase...yourss are still there...

I think what they mean is eccie used to host images like the image hosting sites but will no longer do that. We can still post pics in ads of ourselves but you would have to use the image hosting website...

I'm probably wording it wrong but eccie hasn't banned showcase pictures that's not what the new changes are...

I do not mind because I would rather have someone go to my actual website and not my "showcase".

However, if this is going to impact women who do not have websites, then I hope a resolution is reached.
