As Savannah mentioned, I have had guys let me know ahead of time that they carry, and have a CC. It does not bother me as I am well versed in guns and have a CC. I may be a little naive in that I have never had an experience with a client robbing me or getting physical with me. That being said, I still don't carry while "working" as it does make some folks uncomfortable, and unless someone is literally trying to kill me, there is not really a place for a gun in a session for me. Sorry so long winded!

If a client showed up with a firearm without telling me beforehand (in which I would have refuse the appointment) I would ask him to leave or put it in his car. There is no need to bring it to our meeting and it would instantly put me on guard. Nope, no. Other woman may be okay with it but I am not one of them.

The ladies certainly aren't wrong in asking to be aware of it beforehand, or in it being an outright deal-breaker in the first place, but if you're going to do it, it is perfectly possible to carry an appropriately sized concealed carry handgun in a fitted, inside-the-waistband holster and take your damn pants off without it ever being seen and end up looking like Yosemite Sam. How profoundly uncomfortable and scary for them that it would ever even be an issue in the first place.

I'm a proud CC holding resident of Brownbackistan, but I've never been inclined to make a foolish enough choice about who I was seeing or where to ever feel compelled to carry into a session.

To me the biggest reason to not carry to an appointment is unless the garment containing your holster stays on, your firearm will end up off body away from your control. You are actively responsible for your firearm while it is not locked up.

All of it goes back to screening. If a lady screens her client correctly WHO CARES?

It's happened to me more than once. Leave your gun close to the door, no bullets in chamber and remove the clip.

A screened client isn't perfect though. They can be a gentleman up until your session and then flip. It happened to me. Although not with a gun, it still happened. That is the beauty of this industry is we can choose who we want to see. I'll turn away anyone who shows up with a weapon and they are free to go see women who would not take issue with it.

I keep hearing the instructors words in the c&c class I took when she said to only pull your firearm when you are in "GRAVE PHYSICAL DANGER." I think it's stupid to assume that a provider who I have never met and I'm about to do a mattress dance with would be ok with an armed cowboy walking through the door. I'm all for law abiding citizens carrying weapons but sometimes I think we are getting carried away.

Yes, but screening works both ways. If I feel the need to bring a gun to an appointment then I would have to question whether she is worth seeing. I don't care how good looking she is or how good in bed she is as I won't see her if her incall is at Crown Lodge in Raytown. Unless you're into shooting at rats and cockroaches with a .38
