The reason im asking is considering coming up with a kind of "special" - where the date starts out with a game, and donation is affected by who wins. Might be a fun way to get to know each other, warm up before the second half of the date, and depending on how good you are, save money!
What do you think? Too weird or might be fun?

That's a great idea but a good game of scrabble takes time, at least half an hour complaining about all the bad letters you have. I always get the damn q, lol.

It would be a fun date but a good scrabble session with a well matched player is like 3 or 4 hours at least, we'll have to do it on a weekend!

There would be a time limit on moves and the game, the pros actually play a game in 45 mins. It would have to be quick enough to make the time/donation worth it for both of us.
This is just an example:
45 mins scrabble
45 mins date
Donation starts at 100...you win : you got a 1.5 hr session (half game) for a 100... i win, i get the rest of my donation and possibly a little more (haven't decided yet).
