Since the DOJ has "oversight" (the same exercised by the nationwide directive regarding prosecutions of Federal offenses even though the underlying activity may be considered legal by State law*) over the U.S. Attorney Offices (ergo U.S. Attorneys and their assistants) it's somewhat automatic that a "review" of the activities will be conducted.
* (Another example is firearm possession by persons "convicted" of certain crimes the Feds have had a different standard than many states, but go ahead and prosecute by the Federal standard.)
The procedural status on any license disciplining is about the same as for Bill Clinton when the Federal judge made a finding that he had committed perjury and reported it to the Arkansas Bar Association. Except in this case there is enough publicity for the Nevada Bar Association (and the Federal district in which the prosecutor(s) are licensed) to know about the atrocious behavior.
The process may take some time (weeks or months) unless there is litigation within those systems over the allegations. The Government can appeal the Judge's ruling for instance, which could take a while.
