Not true English is ok now. Plus Montreal rates are lower than Toronto.

If you are in Oburg, try Ottawa...it is closer. If you don't want to drive to Montreal, try Cornwall and the strip joints....you can probably find something. If you do find something up there, let me know as I travel up there on occasion as well.

Thanks for the info. I've been to Ottawa and Montreal but don't like crossing the border and was looking for weekday fun. I'll keep looking at encounter reports.

If ya spend any time there, you will find that 99 percent of folks speak English and the other 1 percent are either lying or...too old to bother with. Even though French is supposed to be offered first in businesses, most use English as default. So does anyone younger than 40, for the most part. French still dominates the outlying areas, mostly among the less educated.

French is dying a slow death in Quebec and a lot of peeps are upset about it. But ya can't take a horse on the QEW any more either. Things change.
