One day reading the paper in San Juan I saw a story that every man woman and child basically got $600 a year from the Feds through food grants funneled through the PR govt. Everyone knows the PR govt is corrupt.

Puerto Rico, an island in the Caribbean Sea, has been a territory of the United States since 1898, after the U.S. defeated Spain in the Spanish-American war. It's classified as an “unincorporated territory,” meaning the island is controlled by the U.S. government but is separate from the mainland.


I doubt many countries will rush to aid N.C. and S.C. after hurricane Florence leaves either.
