So, some dude (long time democratic donor) offers a non-specific and uncorroborated accusation that Kavanaugh lied under oath, without providing any kind of specific times/places/dates/etc. Gee, I feel like we've been here before. The modern American Left: making McCarthyism Great Again!

43 has been sober forever, but I’d bet he was the funnest of the fun. I know BO loved him some Bourbon. Kavanaugh bores me with beer.
In general, House Reps make the best drinking partners.

If all it takes to disqualify a person from the SC or any other position is an unsubstantiated accusation from 36 years ago whats to stop the right from making shit up about the lefts nominee? Kinda like when Harry Reid changed the rules in the senate to a simple majority vote for some appointments. The left isn't to keen on that today. Paybacks are a bitch.

If drinking was a disqualifier, no Kennedy would ever have been elected.
I’m just wondering how Brett, in his drunken stupors, managed to only engage in inappropriate behavior/assault women who ended up to be Democrats when they grew up. Especially when he grew up Catholic in the affluent suburbs of DC and by his own admission, only socialized with the Catholic girls schools.
That’s the most compelling argument on his side.

But he ain’t SCOTUS material.
Twitler wants him in there to defend him when he get his ass impeached by the new Congress.
That’s all that matters to Trump. And he’s got a whole list of willing lackeys to take Kavanaugh’s place.
That’s why he’s keeping his mouth shut for the most part.

He has written 307 DC Circuit Court of Appeals opinions while teaching Constitutional Law at Harvard and coaching women's basketball. Not bad for a blackout drunk.
How many federal court opinions have you written, SC?

I’ll say the same thing about this comment as when people said similar things about Obama. Unless you go to a top university and get into (and excel at) a top law school, you have NO idea how hard the work is. There is no luck about it and there’s no faking it.
Clerking for a SCOTUS Justice is one of the hardest jobs to get. It’s not like being a Presidential Intern where your Daddy can hook you up. BK is very qualified, he just might like his beer a bit more than he should. But it doesn’t seem to have affected his work ethic thus far, so I say have at it...

Kav told the Committee he recommended 4 people to clerk for him when he gets on the SCOTUS. All four are women. Over time he will groom hundreds of smart, confident, articulate, conservative females for successful judicial careers. That will be his revenge.
There is nothing SEXIER than a smart, confident, articulate conservative woman!

It would be impossible to finish first in class in HS, Yale undergrad, and Yale law school if he was in a blacked out drunken stupor. Just laughable.

The real question is how many have I wanted to write. Being a federal judge is no big deal. My best friends dad is a federal judge I won't bother to mention his race. And I have a political activist in my family that has worked with presidents going back to Jimmy Carter. So I'm not concerned with anything you guys have to say. Not a single single word. None of you really know what you're talking about.

Hahaha... Have you ever been in a federal courtroom? I have. I also have friends who work in the court system and a close relative who is a federal judge. So I know what I'm talking about, both from first-hand experience and from talking to my relative who sits on the federal bench. It is a big deal. If you think otherwise, then why all the histrionics over Kavanaugh? Let him take his SCOTUS seat. No biggie, right?
And why would I care about the race of your best friend's dad? The only thing I care about is the quality of his judicial opinions.

Being appointed to the Federal bench is a big deal. Being appointed to a Federal Court of Appeals is an even bigger deal. Being appointed to the DC Circuit is an incredibly big deal. To say otherwise, to anyone, of any color, or any political party, is disrespectful to their hard work.
