You people keep saying liberal or democrats are behind them coming here. Because you heard a rumor on the internet. But you all know why they left where they were at. Because where they were at sucks. No one should be offering free entry. But we do have asylum programs.

Under current law, they can apply for asylum. If you don't like current law, why didn't trump get legislation started? That's how you change laws. Have you all forgotten he has a majority in congress? Where is immigration reform? Healthcare reform?

If the fat lazy slob you all idolize would do his fucking job, this wouldn't be an issue. You might expect and except his level of presidential inactivity but I don't. He comes out and says, "Look at all the stuff I've done." Get up, watch fox for a couple of 3 hours, play golf, eat a couple of quarter pounders, go to bed by 11; repeat.

All he's done is tear shit apart. He can't build consensus but he can sure build walls. Oh that's right. He can't do physical walls. The only walls he has built have been inside our country. He has taken science from the scientists and given it to douche-bags like scott pruitt.

He told you he wouldn't have time for vacations. No time to play golf. He doesn't take a salary because his tax cut gives him a shitload more than a lousy 400k. He said he was going to release his tax returns.

Then I watched a bunch of you try to explain why he lies all the time. Why he needs to lie so frequently. Why it doesn't matter. That's another simple answer. He lies because he's a liar. He always has been.

And he's lowered the bar on American ideals and values. He's trying and succeeding at numbing the public to his transgressions. No one is perfect but he is a long way from that. He's a self-serving bastard. His own cabinet has called him a fucking moron.

I've actually changed my mind before due to posts here. Sometimes I get too liberal and some of the other posters point out my faults.

We are not demonizing the people in the caravan who are just honest working people. I would say that day to day, the millions of illegal aliens working in the United States are treated better by the public than their exploitative employers.(although some likely treat them well, too) However, we already have enough poor people, and whoever is in the caravan and is a good person may accidentally be providing cover for another person in the caravan who is either an economic refugee, which I suspect most are, or a morally neutral person who will opportunistically commit crimes when he sees the opportunity.

To the extent women and their dependents are in the caravan, they are welcome to have temporary shelter in the US while their men go back to their country and fight the bad guys.

The "honest working people" present themselves at the appropriate U.S. State Department facility to make an appointment and obtain the appropriate paper work to apply for entrance into the U.S. like the others were required to do before them. The above "behavior" is acceptable to the Liberals. I like seeing soldiers adding barb/razor wire in certain locations. I think that's much more cost effective than a wall.

I also don't see an issue with the military helping to secure the border. I know they are technically banned from acting as a police force domestically. However, if protecting the borders doesn't fall under national security, I'm not sure what does.

I'm not sure what they are and aren't allowed to do.

Perhaps let ICE & border patrol handle those that do make it through, but let the army stop the bulk of it at the river?
