When the City closed the bathhouses, they said they'll never be back. Then, the AMPs came in. There's too much money to be made. The lovely Asian ladies will be back. If not in AMPs, they'll create some other service.

I would be shocked if a Dallas AMP is open on May 15... even Abbott's priced-for-perfection plan says May 18. that date is not firm, it's a "wait-and-see" date. given that the virus death rate is still increasing in DFW, I wouldn't be surprised if another 2 weeks (or longer) is tacked onto that timeframe.

Hell, a buncha the AMP gals have gone indie. Maybe, there will be a whole new group of gals. Maybe, they'll open karaoke bars. Maybe, they'll offer massages!

Deaths are inevitable. They were going to die two weeks ago if we unlocked then. Or 10 weeks from now, if we unlock then.

Only 17 people died in Texas yesterday from COVID-19.

I have to laugh “only” 17 ? I’m super happy the virus was checked in Texas and we didn’t see the kind of explosion NY had. At the same time the numbers in Texas are still rising so we will have to keep an eye on it.

If your friend or a loved one were 1 of the 17 dead would you feel differently ? Same for the ones who say only the already old or sick will die. If you have friends lol are none of them old or sick or fat ? Would you care more if people you know are getting sick and drying ?

Take the "only" 17 in context to the hundreds of people dying in NYC.

I'm sure I would care about my own friends and family members dying of COVID-19 if any of them did.

I don't have a lot of fat friends though because I pursue life differently. I don't want to sit around and drink beer and eat pizza. I like to go out and do things and that tends to wear fat people out. I find it more entertaining to do something rather than watch something. Watching an NBA game is pure torture to me. I can watch a movie but usually an action movie then I want to go do something after that.

Sitting around and talking about the bullshit lazy people talk about drives me crazy. So, fat people tend to be uncomfortable around me.

However, if someone is old and fat and has multiple medical issues, which is most of the people getting hit with this so far, then if they were about to die anyway I don't think it is fair to shut down our entire society for a few people who died a little earlier than they would have except for their own bad choices in life.

COVID-19 contributed a small amount to their death. They may have been able to beat it if they had kept themselves healthy.

It is like the homeless - they do it to themselves, mostly. Every homeless person out there is shortening their life when they drink, do drugs, etc. Many have had countless interventions through the years and they just resist being a part of society - that's their choice and they get the consequences.

We should offer reasonable help to people who need it.
