Lol I kid. Anyways depends on what your idea of fun is. As far as nightlife, all things are shutdown. You can go to a local breastaurant (Ojos Locos, Bombshells, ...) catch a bite and some tunes. They usually have live djs.

You do know that lack of convention business is deeply hurting the local economy...and the tax revenue?

To answer the OPs question: most of the restraurants are open. However, the traditional clubs, sites like Space Center Houston are iffy depending on the business. Best to call ahead.

As far as I know the beaches are open but my preference is to go to FLA for beaches.
