An Obamacare health insurance policy from HealthCare.Gov offers the same coverage as a policy from IBM or any other fortune 500 company you can think of. Yes, it cost the health insurance companies more to insure people with pre-existing conditions (or people who are already sick). The point is 20 million citizens got health insurance because the ACA law was passed.

The article is awfully hard to follow, and they spend too much time emphasizing what they think is politically harmful to Trump. But overall what's in it isn't particularly surprising:

1. He hasn't paid much in taxes for a billionaire.

2. He stiffed his creditors big time, again, after what he did to the bondholders and banks bankrolling the Atlantic City casinos, that we already knew about. He hasn't paid tax on the "forgiveness of debt" income that arose from this.

3. He's got some very creative tax accountants. This could bite him in the ass big time. Cyrus Vance Jr. has sent people to jail for less. That's not to say that he couldn't send most of us to jail too if we lived in New York and he set his mind to it.

4. He doesn't make nearly as much money as he says he does.

5. He's been putting lots and lots of bad money after good, as a result of some bad investments in golf courses and the like that consume lots of cash, year after year.

6. He's not nearly as rich as he says he is.

7. A large share, maybe most, of his income in the last 20 years has been from the Apprentice.

I'd like to know how the NYT got his tax returns. If LE finds out, somebody will be going to the big house for leaking those.

He made good money from the Apprentice TV show. He should go back to that when Biden beats him in November.

ACA did ensure coverage of pre-existing conditions for those with them - a good thing
It is also hideously expensive, a bureaucratic nightmare, and a controlling force in society beloved of the DPST party.

Republicans have been derelict in not proving a better alternative - where One can truly choose and keep One's physician, is cheaper, and more responsive. That is usually done in teh private sector - when true competition exists - which is , sadly, lacking in the current hospital /doctor fees system. I know of no other system where One purchases a product without being given a price.
ultimately - ACA is a DPST product designed to fail - and force America into Bernie's Medicare -( no Care for nobody) for All 'One payer system he demands as part of his marxist makeover of Amerika!.


DPST marxists appear to be playing along game - republicans had best wake up before the DPST marxists destroy representative democracy.

the NYT is saying dont vote for trump because hes got an excellent tax accountant who really knows how to work a twisted federal tax structure which has made numerous democrats in blue states rich . Which trump himself has tryed to fix in the new tax law.

And by giving any credence to this unrelated item , and not to how this election affects you . and by not voting for trump youll forget how much biden will destroy the greatest economy ever and raise your taxes and waste millions on voodoo climate models and destroy the economy and end fracking and drilling which will increase your costs on EVERYTHING . AND be controlled by a left wing mob who care nothing about freedom , america and you !!
