I differ

trump didn't lose those seats

first thing is....when in fear, the first visceral reaction is that people want security more than freedom...

covid was the game changer...and I know in the twisted upside down partisan world of the media, which you wholeheartedly swallow, trump is blamed for covid

but covid was the excuse allowing the mail in ballot fiasco with the disparate treatment of in person voting as compared to the lack of proper scrutiny of the mail ins, in dimocrat counties

covid changed the economy- I think trump and the republicans would have destroyed the dims, cheat or no cheat, sans covid

the promise by the dims to raise the covid relief checks to $2,000, which trump tried to get raised as well was the clincher

the lesson to be learned from this election cycle is that when you play by the rules, you get squashed

overall, and overarching everything though, is the fact we are a changed country and we have lost the knowledge of and the care for American principles

If you are a WASP, of course.

If not, well, you aren't really an American anyway. Right?

Everything would just be better if all the indigenous people had been completely eradicated, blacks and women still knew their places, all those Chinese were sent away once the Golden Spike was put in place. Besides, we know the Italians, Poles, Jews, and their ilk should not have been allowed in the first place. Let's rip the vote away from women, and turn this country into the bible thumping theocracy we want to pretend the founding fathers intended. MY translation of the bible, and ONLY the passages I approve of, interpreted as I think they should be interpreted of course. That's a given.

Yes, what a glorious place that would be!

If you insist on putting that in every thread, could you at least correct the spelling unless AF is an acronym that I am not familiar with.

Trump absolutely lost those seats. He had some help from Lin Wood, who you've quoted. Here are some of the reasons why,

https://www.eccie.net/showpost.php?p...7&postcount=88

In addition, yes, the controversy over the $2000 stimulus didn't help. Loeffler and Perdue were set up to take some of the credit for the $600 checks. Then Trump out of the blue raises the ante to $2000, handouts to people and their children regardless of employment status or need. Why didn't he bring this up until the last minute? Well, because he was too busy watching Newsmax and playing golf to get involved in negotiations when Mnuchin, Pelosi and McConnell were hashing this out. Undoubtedly this is something that Trump will blame on McConnell and Senate Republicans though.

As recently as a day before the election, Trump was tweeting that Loeffler and Perdue weren't helping him enough in overturning the presidential election. Lin Wood previously encouraged Georgia voters to stay home and not vote. Some took this seriously. In a survey by Atlanta Channel 11, 55% of people who considered themselves "very conservative" said they weren't going to vote because the election is rigged. And you saw this pan out yesterday. Democrats turned out in numbers close to the previous election while Republican turnout was considerably lower than in November.

Great job Trump.

The Republican Party is going to stay in the minority at the national level until it gets rid of Trump and his piece of shit sons.

The Republicans did indeed play to a higher standard back when Paul Ryan was the #1 voice in the Republican Party, and McConnell was #2. Trump however has taken lying to a whole new level. And he's demanded that other Republicans support his lies or be "primaried."
