Someone Explain How We Are Going To Need A "Vaccine Passport" But Not A Voter ID?

Is "proof of vaccination" the same as the "vaccination passport?"

I'm seeing various forms of "proof of vaccination" on the web. The "COVID19 proof of vaccination card" looks very easy to counterfeit.

Again, the data can, and is supposed to, cross ref to what the medics upload. When I got mine they were uploading every shot recipient to the state board of health.

Penetration testing is one of the many things I do as part of my job, and fabrication credentials is a part of that. If I can cook a passport or a state ID, I'm sure we can work around this.

It's been fun pissing people off at work about this, mostly because it's sheltered urban millennials with no real sense of how the world works. "We'll make it blockchain and make it a phone app with a QR code you have to scan, can't hack that!"

Aside from stealing screenshots of other peoples' QR codes, what happens when I don't have a smartphone? Are you going to not let me onto the plane because I didn't pay your $1000 iphone tax.

The old Soviet Union and now China both had restrictions on who could travel inside their own country. This was in part controlled through the use of internal passports.

The so-called Covid passport is just the progressive-left implementing a socialist-communist control over the general public.

With more and more people getting vaccinated, knowing who has been immunized will become less and less important to know.

Not exactly, they are responding to what's going on in Europe where various countries have been restricting border crossings using health rules.
The EU govt, has been hissy cause different countries are doing that outside of EU rules.
So... its somewhat amusing to see nationalism rising in these various countries as they ignore EU mandates.

So back to airlines, they are expecting various countries to implement controlled entry so if they want to fly there they have to screen passengers in advance.
