Shoulda gave Carlos Correa his money his money, unless they're planning to spend all that $$ on pitching

I was wondering when someone would bring this up.
We've got what everyone wants in a professional sports team, well run, successful, good character players, fan friendly and they not getting the attention they deserve.
Wish the Texans would become this good.

Objectively, no athlete is worth what they think they are. It's all come down to what one billionaire thinks he's worth.

They get a big payroll bump this year when they lose Verlander’s and Grienke’s salaries.
They could sign Correa, but may be wiser to use that money to extend Tucker and a Alvarez. Point is, this team is dynasty level.
Texans might be the worst franchise in NFL history.

Good game last night.
Hopefully their bats will stay alive in the cold weather of Atlanta.

Small ball. They've got to nurture that seed. Walking is a "hit"!

Being a fan of both teams I love this series. Historically these 2 teams have played each other close!
It should go 7

It was a good move to open the roof on game 2.
We'll see how "small ball" (aka Brantley-Ball) works tonight.

Losing Cole and Springer hasn't slowed things down much at all. Correa is a fantastic player, but the $$$ that's being discussed for him is insane. Remember, this is the first year he's played most of the season since 2016.
Missed? Yes. End of a potential dynasty? No.
WS is down to the bullpens now and, as interesting as it can be, the scale is definitely tilted in favor of Houston.
