police showed up waited 90 minutes because 2 of their officers got hurt after being fired upon.

it ended when 1 customs border patrol officer went inside the school without any back up and took him down. he got hurt in the process.

Apparently -- NO. I thought I had read where the district had 6, but none were present in the Gun Free Zone during the 12 minutes the perp was firing outside, before entering the school through an unlocked door to end up in a 4th grade classroom. Police arrived 4 minutes later and spent about an hour trying to negotiate with the perp.
