Most people have a general comfort zone, of age or type of matching partner. While there are surprises, straying too far from that zone often is not the greatest time, and certainly here, the ladies tend to get the backlash.

I can but I don't know that my dataset with specific ages is large enough to answer you empirically. What I do know is that over the years, based on experience, I've found 40 and above to be my preferred attention zone, with 50 being a sweet spot.

What I can say with some certainty, and again this is my preference, is that women over 40 who carry themselves with some degree of optimism are just huge turn-ons. Nothing like a confident, optimistic lady with experience to back it all up.

Cover all this discussion with my complete and total understanding of any gentleman's preference for younger ladies. I get it, trust me. I've met some absolute princesses. But, to FireKitten's point, we all have our comfort zones.

To this day Miss K is still the prettiest girl I've taken to bed with me, and if she's not 38 yet she will be by December. So, if she looks the same 2 years from now she will upstage everyone else, at least as far as looks are concerned. Granted I expect almost no 40 year old to resemble her. I think she managed to locate the Fountain of Youth and has been able to keep it a secret. I don't know, maybe it's all genetics. I do know that spending excessive amounts of time exposed to direct sunlight is terrible for your skin and promotes premature aging.

I think the “judgey” stuff happens when we try to generalize. We are all guilty of that. I don’t personally think that we are completely in control of what our brain finds attractive. Certainly, it’s nice to appreciate differences though.
