Wait... he personally "accepted" $7.8 million? Or do you mean that dilapidated DC hotel that his company spent millions on fixing up "accepted" payment for overnight stays by visitors?
Or that signature Trump building on Fifth Avenue in midtown NYC "accepted" payment of rent - in return for providing luxuriously furnished prime retail office space and picking up the bills for electricity, heat and A/C, janitorial services, property taxes and security?
So do you think the DC hotel should have handed out overnight rooms FOR FREE? And Trump Tower should have waived the rent it was collecting from ICBC (under a 20-year lease signed in 2008) once trumpy became POTUS?
Please explain to me how that makes any sense to anyone who has ever run a business.
Now $7.8 million might seem like a nice boondoggle to the Bidens - heck, it's enough to buy a boatload of hookers and a wheelbarrow of (forbidden topic). But Trump? Not even a rounding error for him.
According to Forbes magazine which has been tracking billionaires since 1980, Trump's net worth dropped from $3.7 billion before he took office to $2.5 billion when he left.
Oh shit! Did someone say he used his office to boost his wealth? Well, there goes that lie! Serving as President actually knocked down his net worth by one-third, according to the experts at Forbes!
Now would someone please compare that with Clinton and Obama?
