That looks like a deparmtent store like Macy's, Bloomingdales or Dillards. Macy's has a 50% off sale on clothes every two weeks.

Trump has not started yet. What the store in the picture did has nothing to do with Trump. Perhaps that store just needs to get rid of inventory.

A Kamala Harris / Waltz hat, they should give that away. Who is going to buy one of those now? Maybe Cardi B? She maybe able to sing, but like Melania Trump, she can hardly talk. With both of them English is like a second language.

If this store is located in a "Red" state, they may not be able to give away a Kamala Harris hat or shirt.

Default Dump before the Pump

I expect countries that feel potential tariffs coming next year will be dumping all the product they possibly can here ASAP.

Retailers shuttered 4,600 stores this year. Here are the stores that disappeared.
December 29, 2023

This year was a rough one for some major retailers, as illustrated by an 80% surge in store closures in 2023 from the year before, according to Coresight Research.

The reasons for this year's more than 4,600 store closures are varied, ranging from the bankruptcy of a major retail chain to some operators closing underperforming locations. In some cases, retailers blamed rising theft for their rationale in closing some locations...
They ought to have laws against theft.

Store closures are surging this year. Here are the retailers shuttering the most locations.
May 13, 2024

The retail industry is going through a tough time as it copes with inflation-weary consumers and a rash of bankruptcies, prompting chains to announce the closures of almost 3,200 brick-and-mortar stores so far in 2024, according to a new analysis.

That's a 24% increase from a year ago, according to a report from retail data provider CoreSight, which tracks store closures and openings across the U.S. Although some retailers are planning to expand this year, major chains have announced 4% fewer openings compared with a year earlier, the analysis found...
So even the rate of closings is increasing, i.e. inflating.

Jacuzzme is usually a a serious poster. I plead guilty to missing the Humor. Seriously, a Harris hat, the store should just give that away. No one is going to buy that, even at 75% off.

Sure they will. At that price many will buy 2 of them. One to take a dump in and the other to cover it up with.

“It’s hard to bring things down once they’re up,” Trump told Time magazine. “You know, it’s very hard.”

Doesn’t sound like he will be following through on his campaign spiel and talk.

Earlier Trump

“Prices will come down,” Trump said during a rally in August. “You just watch: They’ll come down, and they’ll come down fast, not only with insurance, with everything.” “We will end inflation and make America affordable again, and we’re going to get the prices down, we have to get them down,” Trump said at a rally in September. “It’s too much. Groceries, cars, everything. We’re going to get the prices down.”

“We will cut your taxes and inflation, slash your prices, raise your wages and bring thousands of factories back to America,” Trump said at a Georgia rally in October, reciting a line he used in speeches at several other events.

Well first of all he’s a liar.

Secondly he’s got a concept of a plan.

Thirdly when things don’t work out like he wants he’ll just blame it on someone else. That’s why you should never work for Trump. He takes credit for your success and blames failure on anyone but himself.

But no prices won’t fall anytime soon and maybe not ever.

First, wage growth has outpaced inflation for some time now under the Biden administration.

My personal theory on how Trump is going to help the everyday family is to convert all Government vehicles to Teslas and growing our veggies on Mars then using Space X to deliver them back to Earth. We now have a bought and paid for idiot in the White House.

It much easier to fool someone than convince them they've been fooled.

Plus side if you will, expect the biggest blue/independent wave in history overtake congress in '26

Nothing here but the usual leftist whining that Trump needs to fix things the left has spent 4 years screwing up within his first week. Wages have NOT outpaced inflation. Real wages have dropped thanks to Bidenflation. Not to worry, when prices go down the same complainers here will try to credit Joe.

Trumpf is already walking back promises that he’s going to lower prices.

Everybody knew he was lying except for the people who voted for him.

You surprised, Salty? Or didn’t he mean those things when he promised everybody? Or is that just politics?

YOW!

He's been quoted very recently that he can't do shit about the grocery prices.
Well crying out loud. That's the number one thing that affects everyone. Everyone eats!

He won't lower prices trust me. He will just give tax cuts to rich nothing planning on doing will cause price to go down. Want prices down 99% stop printing money. 1% he is making easy to produce one good call oil. And Elon musk is welfare king of worthless products.

I am just surprised he is already so forthcoming about it so soon. I figured he would wait at least a year before he started blaming others which he didn't. I have to give him some credit for at least owning the obvious outcome way ahead of time.
