The J6 Committee was all about setting the narrative, so much so that Nancy Pelosi refused to let then-Speaker McCarthy's GOP appointees serve on it. She didn't want anyone defending trump, introducing contrary evidence, or subjecting her star witnesses to rigorous cross-examination. The result? Due process matters. The lack of due process at the J6 Committee will make future historians skeptical of its verdicts. But Pelosi didn't care about that.
