Calling ahead is the best policy. I mean, if there is no one in the driveway, they might be glad to see you, but you also might be fucking it up for someone who called ahead and actually HAS an appointment.

It’s not hard to just call them and ask if you can come by now.

I got the bum's rush out the back door at a spa earlier this year because someone just shows up and bangs on the door. The girl didn't know if it was LE or what so she panicked. Made for an interesting exit. Yeah, don't be that guy.
