Oh I think the people are waking up, but in the exact opposite direction that you desire.
Consider the NO terror attack by a Muslim today and pending information about Las Vegas. I believe the US and other parts of the west are waking up to the destructive Democrat/liberal policies of the last 4 years.

The New Orleans suspect was an American citizen and a veteran of the U.S Army. Where would they have deported him to, other than jail?
