I would normally not think of commenting as I am only a guest here, but I visit Houston with some regularity and have seen this lady many times. Often enough to be certain she isn’t a maniacal racist that doesn’t care about someone else’s feelings anyway. Regardless of my personal experience, I know she is trying to make her way in life the same as everyone and doesn’t deserve the meanness because no provider does. When men are courteous, prompt, and respectful of boundaries, it is usually met with a pleasing encounter. If it doesn’t move on. Report deceptive or dishonest activity honestly to the members here, but vengeful comments have no place and are best ignored . Had I not been verified for her comfort and safety, I would have tried someone else. That’s one reason regulars are so great. Even out of town.

Racial preferences can (but aren't always) be racist, and people are allowed to have such racist or non racist preferences. I'm not sure why people act like preferences and racism (or any other forms of bigotry) are mutually exclusive. Nothing about them are. One can choose to not see black people for racist reasons, or for truly non-racist reasons. Both are possible.

It's also not worth trying to figure out why exactly people have the preferences they do. Most people will never admit if their reasons are racist, and they may not even realize it. The average person these days has the critical thinking skills of a goldfish, so what's the point? There are too many fish in the sea. Give people the benefit of the doubt and just move on. Life is too short.
