FaceTime is for them to verify you are who you say you are. When they ask you for age and race, how do would they know if you're lying or not?

I can see Facetime being a valuable tool for ladies wishing to avoid certain demographics (age, weight, race, etc). But honestly-- I hear more from the mens side expecting to verify us via Facetime. I won't do it... if my long history of reviews isn't enough, then I don't know what to tell ya.


As far as a phone call goes-- I don't require it to book with me. But-- by the time I've cleared someone for takeoff-- I've already checked them out fairly thoroughly. I get why someone who takes last minute gents might want a brief conversation as a vibe check if nothing else.




But at the end of the day-- if you don't like how someone screens, then perhaps don't see them? Seems pretty simple.

There are other methods they could use to screen out the demographics they may not want to see (obese, unkempt, etc) that wouldn't de-anonymise either of them and would actually be faster and easier

Perhaps-- but once again, every lady is allowed to run their business as they see fit. Clearly its working for those who choose to do so-- otherwise, they'd move on to other methods.

I will talk on the phone if I feel the gent maybe more nervous as if he's new to seening a provider... But we all have our own way of screening and if you don't like it don't do it ...Facetime proves nothing but what the person may look like! Don't just facetime someone with out asking first

yep, the only things that "video verification" can do are a) give the "verifier" an image of what the person looks like (assuming they show their entire body form), b) confirm that there is a human at the other side of the connection, c) get to hear them talk and what they say.

it does *nothing* to verify their legitimacy as a client or as not being an LE person.

but as several of the women here have posted - accept ther procedures/techniques or move on. low if not zero probability of getting them to change their m.o.

I don’t do either of these things, either, but I make it easy for women to vet me, including p411 and documented history on the boards. What are you able to provide for screening such that you are still being asked to do these things?

It can provide a more personalized and less intimidating way to connect, allowing us to assess compatibility and establish a comfortable rapport. Phone calls can also facilitate screening out incompatible individuals like yourself and save time on potentially awkward or disappointing in-person interactions.
