Does Time Away Matter? Getting Feedback on Returning Providers
Hey everyone,
Curious to get some feedback from the community on something I’ve been noticing more lately — providers and models who return to the industry after stepping away, sometimes for months or even years.
Here’s the question:
Does it really matter if someone “retired” for a while, if when they come back, they still look the same, bring the same energy, and deliver the same experience?
Some folks seem totally open to seeing returning providers — especially if they had a good rep before and haven’t “aged out” in the eyes of the scene. Others seem more cautious, almost like there’s an unspoken rule that once you retire, you should stay retired.
So I’m asking the hobbyist crowd:
Do you personally care if a provider left for a while, as long as the experience is still on point?
Do returning providers need to “prove themselves” again?
Have you had positive or negative experiences with someone who made a comeback?
Would love to hear your honest takes — this could help guide folks who are thinking about stepping back in but don’t know how the community really feels about it.
Thanks in advance! 🙏

Don't care if a provider takes time off for any reason. If I liked her before i'd give her another try for sure.

The concern is she has sold her provider name and ECCIE account to another provider, so that a new provider can say she has a long history in the hobby.
I have no issue with seeing a returning provider assuming the service is still good.

These are the best providers. They take care of themselves. Sometimes they take time off and have arrangements, relationships, or business deals. When it's over they come back. They understand that their body is their asset. And if you really enjoy her then you could be her her next arrangement.

I don't have a problem with it. Used to have a provider that specialized in limited availability. She'd post in April to earn enough money for a summer trip, the again in Oct/Nov for Christmas money and a trip. Never on the board for more than 2 weeks, except when she wanted a new car. That took her 3 weeks for the Lexus SUV she wanted.
She "retired" when a guy married her, but was back 2 years later because the marriage didn't last. They all have their reasons, but the great ones are always welcome to come back.

Not sure
1. If provider is in again off again, possible she uses old photo, just a rip off or poor service who reinvent her self.
2. Some providers go though periods of no new customers but if seen her few times she might be down unless has BF/hub. Respect he wish not to want see you.

I wouldn't care at all if a provider took a few years or months off, so long as they haven't let themselves go and the service is still on point.
