Well, they certainly had good momentum going into this with all of the setbacks Iran has had recently. So if you were ever gonna do this, they at least timed it right.

We will see what the results are. I have no prediction. This could end up being a master stroke that forces them to come around on their nuke program. Could even result in something VERY cool like regime change (though the next group may be worse). Or it could escalate to a regional conflict that will finally put an end to Trump's nonsensical boast that no war ever started while he was in office.

No, the more I think on this, the more I think that something like this had to happen. And better to get it over with now while they are still reeling from what has happened to Hamas, etc.
