Default Democrats again are using the Rules For Thee But Nor For Me to cry and whine

The President doesn't need Congress approval to call airstrikes and no declaration of war is required.

Obama did it.

Clinton did it.

Even President Thomas Jefferson did it in 1801, 224 years ago.

But President Trump does it, now the Democrats are crying and screaming and calling for impeachment.

Did these Democrats also forgot we went to war in Vietnam and the USA never declared war on North Vietnam?

USA had American military troops in South Vietnam as early as the 1950's and no one ever said anything or tried to stop them.

They were called military advisors but they weren't any different than any other troops in the US Army: they wore the same Army uniform and carried the same Army issued weapons, etc

... A GREAT point there, mate. ... "How Soon They Forget"...

... President OBama asked the Congress for authorization to
hit Libya - and Congress turned him down.

So, what did OBama do? ... He attacked Libya anyway.

The Demms need to stow the silly and misguided "impeachment talk"
unless the wanna RAISE Trump's poll numbers even HIGHER! ...

President Bill Clinton authorized the participation of the U.S. in the NATO air campaign in Kosovo, known as Operation Allied Force.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NATO_b..._of_Yugoslavia

The air strikes commenced on March 24, 1999, and lasted for 78 days, ending on June 10, 1999.

I don't recall anyone complaining he didn't declare war nor did her get Congress' approval/permission.

GOOGLE:

Quote:
President Bill Clinton did not seek or receive Congressional approval before authorizing airstrikes in Kosovo. The NATO bombing campaign against Yugoslavia, which included Kosovo, was undertaken without explicit authorization from the United Nations Security Council or the U.S. Congress.

Here's a more detailed explanation:

NATO Action:
The NATO bombing campaign, which lasted from March 24 to June 10, 1999, was a response to Yugoslavia's actions in Kosovo, including the ethnic cleansing of Kosovar Albanians.

No UN Mandate:
The NATO bombing was conducted without the explicit authorization of the UN Security Council, which is the typical body that provides international legal approval for military actions.

No Congressional Authorization:
Similarly, President Clinton did not seek or receive authorization from the U.S. Congress for the airstrikes.

Debate on Legitimacy:
The lack of UN Security Council and Congressional authorization led to debates about the legitimacy of the intervention.

Humanitarian Intervention:
The intervention was largely framed as a humanitarian intervention to prevent further atrocities against the Kosovar Albanian population.

You once again speak of "the Democrats" as if there is no disagreement within the party. Every Democrat let Clinton, et al do this. And they all are bitching about Trump doing it.

Not true. Just because you "don't recall" the controversy doesn't mean it didn't exist. Both Clinton and Obama got a ton of heat and criticism for these actions, including from within the Democrat party.

Hyperventilate much? From what I have read there's a SINGLE democrat that mentioned impeachment. I also noticed a few republicans that are questioning the activities of your orange daddy.
Guess they don't count. lol
