Maybe we need to DOGE the shit out of the White House. How many billions went into not blowing up the mountain?

And as the truth of the SUCCESS of this mission comes out, the usual suspects have more egg on their faces.

Not true at all. What was reported was true. The initial assessment stated exactly that. If further information shows something different that doesn’t make what was reported untrue or incorrect.
That’s how assessments and information work.

The Trump administration could’ve said “yes some initial assessments show that but we’re getting additional information showing greater success.” Unfortunately, they are incompetent and pitiful so cannot simply answer questions or make statements truthfully. It’s all performative and badly so for this administration.

Now, the only real question is whether Iran is set back 6 months, 1 year or 3 years. Nothing else really matters.

Pentagon Assessment Operation Midnight Hammer : Planned Over 15 Years#Iran

Chairman Joint Chiefs GEN Dan Caine
 @thejointstaff

Strike at Fordow exploited two ventilation shafts

Days before, Iran tried to cover shafts with concrete cap

First US weapon removed concrete cap

Weapons 2, 3, 4, and 5 entered main shaft, traveling at 1000 feet per second to Iran’s underground mission center

 Weapon 6 “flex” capability

The “kill” mechanism was the combination of blast and overpressure on the target

Officer from DTRA (Defense Threat Reduction Agency) began the mission 15 years ago when the underground target was identified and the officer recognized the US did not have a weapon to counter it.

Years of highly classified (likely special access program) development and testing followed.

Caine said he talked with the two DTRA officers who “lived this single target” for years.

Post mission, they described hearts “ filled with pride to be a part of this.”

 @SecDef
 HEGSETH

Leaked DIA record was preliminary assessment and low confidence. He accused some media of amplifying the report to create doubt, search for scandal, division and to “cheer against Trump”

NOTE: In the hierarchy of intel reports, a preliminary assessment with low confidence would not carry much weight. It’s an early snapshot that concedes the picture will likely change as more intelligence is developed.

 IRAN RETALIATION

44 service members defended the Al Udeid base from Iran retaliatory strikes

Ranged in age from 28 year old captain to 21 year old private

Had “2 minutes to succeed or fail”

Single largest Patriot engagement in US history

GEN Caine “they absolutely crushed it”

 BOMBER CREWS

Active Duty Air Force and Guard
said goodbye to their families Friday, not knowing the outcome, when they would return.

On Sunday, teams returned, tears flowed with families, said it “felt like the Super Bowl”

No egg, bud. What was quoted was true. 100%.

You MAGAs county everything as winning vs losing, exoneration vs humiliation, black vs white. Believing the lie or promoting it.

I hope Trump was speaking truthfully, but really?

The the early assessment was accurate. And continues to be.

The problem is entirely with Trump and his bombastic personality and statements......and all his past lying.

Both Trump and Foster Brooks, errr, Hegseth know they got caught bullshitting the world and have admitted doubt of the “COMPLETE AND TOTAL OBLITERATION”https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...-by-us-strikes
I’m sure Trump will rip Foster a new asshole on Troof Social because it was likely his idea to use the absolute terms Trump announced …. Right!

But as insurance, he blamed the media in a press conference…

Snick!

None of us actually KNOW anything. Not sure we will, though...
The disturbing part of this is the obnoxious propaganda being spewed by the Trump admin. And their attacks on any media reports that suggest that this might have been less than the most spectacular military operation in history.

And it will get worse. This Administration is so paranoid about critical press that they will further restrict access and release of information. It will only make many doubt even more that what comes out of the White House is actually factual and/or accurate. A self-fulfilling prophecy.
