I do concur with Wiley Coyote. People in Houston talk so much shit to each other I definitely have no desire seeing anyone unless it’s private bcd. It’s sad how in Houston board moderation has made it difficult for some folks to be here and just how nasty some people are and get away with it. Plus the lies that are strewn. Who wants to be around a bunch of liars.For those who enjoy those experiences great for them.

I live in the Dallas area and I assure you that the shit talking and insults are very prevalent in the Dallas forums. There have been multiple times I have been to socials and seeing a few of the guys behind the keyboard talking shit. Amazingly, they were not as brave in person to insult me to my face. One guy who insulted me all the time actually apologized then proceeded t[ follow me around like a lost puppy as if he wanted to be buddies at one social.
I have met providers whom I initially set up appointments with due to the socials I met them at, so the socials are not all that bad. One provider I even still see regularly.
It is good to interact with people that are in the hobby in person. But as I said, due to the picture takers, ect., I do not attend them unless it is private (not posted anywhere), I know the personas who might be going and last but not least, if I have the time to go.
