It seems like a lot of livelihoods depend on that board. I guess I don’t understand why he doesn’t request contributions to update it if funds are an issue. I’d likely kick in a few bucks and it seems like providers, who advertise there for free, would contribute more if the board was fixed going forward. Just a weird situation imo

I've offered funds to bolster the hosting/software/tech support/etc. and they declined. The last explanation as to the outages I heard were there were constant DDoS attacks on the site. I guess I'm scratching my head why this site (which has a lot more traffic/notoriety) remains up 24/7 (save for that time they went dark a few years back for a few months), and that site seems to keep getting knocked down every month or so.
