I don’t like that. That’s been a pass for me. I’m just not comfortable sharing any of my personal info with any of these providers.

If the requirements are for newbie friendly providers, then I understand. However, if these requirements are for providers that are not newbie friendly, then they are way over the top.
This is why I won't see anyone who doesn't have references or can be verified by the legitimate verification services. It's too much of a hassle and definitely too risky for me.

Even some of the p411 ladies are requiring it now. Wasn't that the whole point of p411 doing the employment verification and driver license picture verification?

Wow. Did you really have to do that on P411? I guess I've been around too long. I don't remember any of that in 08 when I signed up....

A provider I know sent me screenshots from a guy that signed up a couple of weeks ago and all they have different ways of getting approved now. By DL,work info,college/student info and statements in your name that matched your DL address like from a Bank, internet bill etc...

What I have always wondered is if you a newbie to the provider and she has a rule of requiring deposits for new people, how is that any safer than no deposit. They don't do any verification other than couple of photos of dead presidents. And most take the money and run.

Back (way back) in the "good old days", and I mean before cell phones and the wide spread use of personal computers, the only real way to contact a provider was in person. And it could be something of a d once too.
I recall reading adds for "relaxation body rub" and other euphemisms on the back page of tabloid alternative news papers. Personal services ads in the classifieds and so on. Hotel bars sometimes were a first encounter with glances, then firmer eye contact and an offer to buy a drink. The SW scene was different as well.
These days, it is both easier to find someone and more complicated. With dedicated sites, there is no question about the intentions of either party, but safety in the Hobby has many components these days. And so the issues of deposits, selfies and all that.
For many lifestyle related r haven't stopped out since 2010 myself . . .and I'm not sure I have the e-commerce skills online snd on the phone to make a connection today. "Upgraded from an iPhone6 to an iPhone 15 last year, the complexity of it all is both mystery and magic to me.

Simple solution is to delete the number and move to the next. If we don't play their game they change or move on.

I hear you. I was referred to P411 by a lady who also booked from an agency in KC that had an ad in the YELLOW pages. It actually had a "adult escort" services section in the phone book. That and the Pitch newspaper had an "adult services" section on the back pages of its publication. (I think thats wear backpage came from). With no cell phone, you had to call from a pay phone and hope she answered. Of course neither party had any idea what type of axe murderer might be on the other end...
